Child of illusions - Camilla Mahal

Title - Child of illusions
Author Camillia Mahal
Format - Kindle
Read time - 5 hours max.

``` 'As a child I asked the gods to make my life as difficult as they could so I could experience what others go through and what the world was.' ``` these lines by author really taught me _No matter what, every experience in life counts_.
It is a slow paced book. The book is a flashback to Camillia 's past. Highlighting the life she lived. She from this book wanted to tell about the incidents and accidents happened to her in the past.
Everyone's dream is to live princess life but no one actually knows it' s consequences.
In this book -
The Author has good connections with the family of Akbar. Her name was Arjunmad. For her it was difficult to live a life a princess lives. She was a fighter queen always ready to fight.
As we go further into the story it shows the development of the Character from being a princess to one of the remarkable queen.
As per the content Camillia has lives many lives and according to the record this life is her 650th life. The story gets interesting bit by bit and Supporting characters of the book enhance the beauty.
The book length is divided into 40 chapters. The language is simple and writing style is unique. The cover itself seems to be peace and gives a idea about the happening.
Over all a interesting read.
Rythym of Remembrance
Book : Rythym of Remembrance
Author : Samir Satam
Format : Kindle
Synopsis :
Without memories we are loose fragments that have no way of understanding either others or our own selves, which in turn leaves us incapable of ever loving or forgiving both ourselves and others.
Reminiscing is like diving deep within…
…to rediscover the landscape of things that happened to us,
…to smell the fragrance of everything and everyone we loved and lost – sometimes to death, sometimes to life,
…to listen to words that have long left our lips, and to words that could never leave,
…to find ways to see in a new light, things we have struggled and failed to un-see,
…to close our eyes and feel the texture of lost times of our lives,
However, as long as we are capable of remembering, is anything ever lost?
As long as our feet know the path back to our past, how do we stop dancing to this Rhythm of Remembrance?
My Take :
This book is compilation of 75 poetry scribbled by the author on his emotional journey- A journey to hold and wait.
The Poetries are mixed - Happy, Sad, emotional, journey, experiences and what not
The poems have no tittle but to my knowledge the illustrations and images provided in the book looks amazing. Gives more impact while reading.
I really loved the book, illustration along with poetry are so in to have in collection. For me allignment was a bit problem, the book seemed Messier otherwise everything else was good.
- Title and Cover both are intriguing
- Language used is simple and easy to understand.
- Verses are crisp which shows a lot. And that's a good point to explain many things with few verses.
- book is light read with roller coaster of emotions and journey of life.
